My apologies for jumping in here. I've just registered on this forum after months of lurking and was hoping to speak directly with kenmyfam. .... kenmyfam, I've tried to PM you but it bounced back as your inbox was full. Steerable ??? stable ??? controllable ???

I did another test run today with a 6'x7' square sail on the boat. The wind was 10-20 mph. The boat speed was 2.5 mph most of the time. The max speed was 3.5 mph. The boat could travel at 30 degree away from the wind direction per my observation. Because the wind was behind the boat, the boat was quite stable. The waves usually traveled faster than the boat did.
