Springbok Aluminum Bowrider Age?

I just picked up a Springbok Aluminum Bowrider and I am trying to determine the age of it. The previous owner wasn't sure and the last 3 digits on the serial are 821. I am guessing it is an '82 based on normal serial numbers. Am I right?

No...... you are not right.

The last 2 digits of the Hull identification Number process did not start until the early 70's. Your boat is older and the number you have is a simple serial number.

Springbok was "absorbed" by Princecraft so you might try to contact them for information

Post a picture - I have been collecting photos from the web and perhaps can help date it based on similar models.
