I am in salmon Arm in the shuswap area, great place to retire but a little on the small size for me right now.
The rain should smack the H#ll out of the coast today, hopefully it rains it self out before it gets here, but the weather guy said we should be getting high winds this afternoon/evening.
Our version of a chinook LOL

Melt snow melt!!

LOL, BC is full of little valley and HWYs/roads going everywhere.
Everything Cranbrook and west is dang cold in the winter, Creston has a great climate due to lake effect, Nelson, Castlegar and area are about the same, Grand forks is good as well, but a little colder in the winter, Nakusp is awesome but small and remote.
The Okanogan and Shuswap are alittle pricey to live.
