Hit 50 degrees here today

It hit 50 here today and the snow is off the boat. I got the new jack on the trailer and the new spare carrier and spare on it. I had to look inside under the covers. Everything is still good. Still have solid water here but soon we will be fishing again. I wonder how the tracker is fairing. It is up in Elkhart lake and we haven't been up there all winter. I am really getting tired of winters as I get older.

Guys been fishing Milwaukee's lake Michigan harbor in boats for a month already.

Very nice to see some warmth and sun, I'm 2 blocks from lake Michigan and it keeps it cold down here clear into June usually.

the bay water was 50 degrees here. been 50 - 60 every day here for a week. and we still have snow in the shady spots.

It's been nice to see this warming in WI finaly. Seems like the winter just dragged on this year. Of coarse I sold my snowmobiles last fall so the winter wasn't any fun this year anyway except for hockey. I have finaly started my boat projects now that it is warm enough to work. My plan is to have the boat carpet replaced by the end of this weekend and then make plans for new paint and restoring the trailer.
