Realizing this thread is old, I still wanted to add to it. Pics are of my "Allied Boat Co. Wee One" that I have restored. Last pic was probably about 1977. As you can see, I named it as I painted the tired gel coat with Imron, so decals were gone. Until I found the name Sportcraft Lil' Sport by accident, I never knew another one of these boats/hulls existed. I have owned this boat since I was a kid purchasing it from the original family in 1974 or 75 who bought it at the Miami Boat show. The decal (Allied Boat Co.), I reproduced that was a clone of the original.
Original owners had a 33 Evinrude on it. When I bought it, I put an 18 Evinrude on it, then a 35. Lastly a 55HP Chrysler. Ten life took off. I restored it about 3 years ago to what you see. As the original plywood seat was destroyed at kid ownership, at that time & I made one (High school wood shop class) out of solid oak. That was finally gone, so when I restored it I designed and had made a aluminum seat with integral fuel tank in seat portion. Memories of that gas tank bouncing around made me do the integral seat. Modern steering, new gel coat, etc. & a new 50HP. Have not taken it out yet.
