I picked up a 1964 Starcraft Jupiter just about this time last year. It was rough - floors squishy, rotten transom, 30hp Rude, mostly original, and no leaks!

At the end of the season I had the hull soda-blasted in prep for the resto.

Polished the hull to right above the splashrail.

Hull sanded on to-be-painted areas - interior gutted Lots o' wet foam - applied gluvit per recommendations here and durabak white to inner hull surfaces. here it is sitting next to its painting stand

Went with cedar plank for the interior - used penofin marine to finish the wood.

Had to add additional bracing to hold the planks

That is some amazing word work!!! If I were closer to NY I could very well get the same treatment on my bayliner like yours! However my hull is fiberglass! *Father in Law* has his own sawmill!

Nice work though man looking forward to this thread and see the final splash.

Many thanks for the kind words all! I'm hoping to splash the first week of July. I'm re-powering w/ an '86 Johnson 70, getting it mounted is next on the list.

Its a 70. Had to put some weight in the bow to keep it down. Trim is set as low as it goes
