Speedo size for 1976 cvx16

Does anyone know the diameter for the speedometer? Getting the owner a Christmas present but don't know what size to buy.

there are only 3 sizes of tach's, 2" (actuall 2-1/16") 3" (actual 3-3/8") and 5" (actual 5")

the most common is the 3'
