Anyone know where i can find the specs for my '84 Mercury 50hp outboard? looking mainly for weight gear ratio and max recommended RPM.....thanx......scott

your specs are virtually the same as my 88 classic fifty ( 45hp) -

RPM 5000 - 5500
weight i believe mine weighed around 170 pounds without power trim .
