Spark Plugs and plug wires for boats.

While following some recent recommendations of completing a tune up on my new boat, I looked up spark plugs for my 3.0LX Mercruiser and saw that I have a few options. Basically, what's the best bang for the buck when it comes to spark plugs and plug wires? Autolite? NGK? Splitfire? Do radically designed plugs really make the engine start easier or run more efficiently? Or are they just a way to get more money out of the consumer's pocket? Do they produce more horsepower or make an engine run smoother? If I can get a better plug for better performace I will. If anyone has any thoughts, please advise.

I use Autolite plugs & Magstar wires.....

Ayuh,........ Exactly........

You can't beat the Marine version of the AC plug for your motor.......
Probably the AC MR43T,.... But you'll have to check to be sure.....
