I have an 83 75hp Chrysler model #758H3F. The manual says to use a champion L20-V but the parts store came up with the QL82-C. the newer plug needed to be gapped(the old one did not). Is this the 'new' plug for this motor? do they still make the L20-V? I have seen posts regarding the 'heat range'. Is this plug in the same heat range? thanks for any help I suppose if this is not the right plug I could use it when 'decarbing'. :p

Re: spark plug L20-V or QL82-C

According to sparkplugs.com
Yes, Champion L20v is still available,
NGK equivelent is BUH
Autolite equivelent is #2852

But in using their "plug finder" for your motor, it recommends the Champion L82c, or the marine equivelent Champion #5931.

Another alternative is the NGK B8HV.
