New boat is a 5.0 and is quite a different tone than the 3.0. Wether on the water or on the trailer the 3.0 was way louder than the 5.0 ...

In a boat nothing sounds better than a V8. Yesterday I was out on the bay and heard the howl of a go-fast going & coming while I was out.

Its pretty rigid, wouldnt conform. Also dont think it would adhere very well

cut to fit all flat parts of the doghouse and fill as needed. these hangers are what i would use. stickey back or you could use jb weld to adhere. JMO. boat does not always mean break out another thousand.

Visit your local car sterio store...there are all kinds of sound deadening stuff that really works !! They will steer you in the right direction....
