Is it possible to ground a insulated base solenoid ? I have a purple wire going to the ignition coil, is this where you ground it? The purple wire is currently going to the coil. I think I bought the wrong solenoid. This is on a 1987 mercruiser 190 with points ignition. Thanks in advance
