Sold wheels, the buyer says they dont fit

He bought them yesterday, did a visual check right next to his car, I guess back space is wrong???Ugh, super nice guy, I also gave him a great deal, were taking up too much space in garage, been trying to sell them for a year, I do NOT want them back and I don't want to feel like I screwed the guy, I hate this type of stuff, havent got back w/ him yet

Did you say they would fit ?-----What cars are involved here?-----Did he ask if they would fit ?-----When I buy a parts outboard , the dealer knows I wont come back to say ---" it won't start " !!

Only you and the buyer know what was said or implied in your transaction. You need to decide what you feel comfortable doing. Did you use a medium to find your buyer that will allow him to provide feedback?

no HE said they would fit, he even had some website on his phone that showed they would and double checked the backspacing listed on back of wheels.

Did he message you to ask that he could return them? If so I think that's in poor form If you take them back I would return his purchase price less a restocking fee for your efforts..

He bought them and he owns them.-----Did you mark / identify them ??-----Unfortunately there are some folks who will buy stuff.----- Then install it and try to return their junk to you.----Rare but it does happen.

He'll be keeping them, he's already put up two videos on how to clean them etc, he is a photographer, I havent or will, get back to him

I sold a motorcycle cover on Facebook marketplace....didn't fit...gave him his money back. Wasn't even a question!
