soft floor..

i have a 1985 19ft citation with a I/O. it has a soft floor and im looking to replace it. i dont know much about fiberglass. and i spoke to a few people and they said i could replace it with a marine plywood? also a man was talkin about a plastic plywood?? any help would be great..

Greetings!

Sadly I had the same start on my project. Hop over to the restore forum and prepare yourself. A good first start is just getting up the plywood that you can and have a look underneath. Unfortunately the odds are probably that the wood underneath is rotting away on you. Open up what you can, get some pictures and start a thread up in the Restore forum so the real pros can chime in.

Hang in there! Plenty of sharp and supportive folks here to assist.

I see another Jersey guy huh? Check out the resto threads and get us some pics and a thread going. Lots of help for you here. I'm doing my first boat resto too. If your handy it's not that diffacult at all. :D
