I have a Wellcraft 26se Excel 8.5 ft beam cruiser. I want to have the bottom paint removed and was thinking about soda blasting. The currant bottom paint is in bad shape and is peeling in many areas.
Does anyone know approxamately what it would coast to have the bottom blasted?

Thanks Steve.

Re: Soda blasting?

The price around here varies by season, there's a few guys that will do it on site too. Most are between $20 and $40 per foot of hull.

Wow!!! That is much less expensive than the people who were just here to give an estimate. I was just quoted $2600 just to strip it and it only has 1 coat of paint on it.
I do believe either they didnt really want to do it or they were giving me the hucklebuck.

Uh, unless I'm not seeing something, $20-$40 a foot on a 26'er is way more than $2600. as in double on the low end... did I miss something?
