Well its not done and its not your conventional Captains chair but it will be a mottified back to back seat on the drivers side when im done. here is how i put it together. I think it will upholster up nice. I plan to put it on sliders so you can adjust up to the steering wheel etc.

Looks good. Did you use gorilla glue? or are you going to epoxy the entire surface?

I am jealous....... I want a gravel lawn!!

I used regular wood glue. For all my seats i have been useing Marine grade Spar Varnish. I apply 3 coats of semi gloss. It seemed to hold up well on the engine cover (which is already done) when i washed out the boat. I will definatly post more pics as i finish it.
