I have just purchased a universal joint from ebay supposed to be snap on item sv8a. The snap-on writing is underlined and a different font to the normal snap-on writing you see on the items in todays catalog. The vendor says "This is because it is of the older variety with the underlined logo"<br /><br />Does anybody know did snap-on used to write snap-on underlined on sockets and is SV8A a valid id?<br /><br />I hate getting ripped off but I think the vendor may be genuine and dont want to be a arse!
