Snap in flooring material

I’m looking to replace the original snap in flooring on my bowrider. Currently the snap flooring is a woven carpet that’s getting crispy due to age.

I have thought about making it out of the woven vinyl flooring, woven carpet again, and lastly a thin style Seadek type flooring if that’s even a snap in option.

I can handle cutting, sewing on binding, and installing the snaps. I want a material that won’t get uncomfortably when sitting in the sun. I’ve never been on a boat with the woven vinyl. I have been on pontoons with a vinyl floor and they get “burn your feet hot”.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

You can buy it and glue it in, or have it on a backer and snap it in. It is available either way. My SeaRay has it glued on the swim platform and snap in thru the entire cockpit. Cool in the sun and soft on the feet. Best boat decking I ever had.

It's a heavy dense solid core foam that is the same thickness as the SeaDek.
Completely waterproof.

This stuff is awesome, but don't buy it if you bring dogs in the boat.

Or wine or strawberry margaritas. It will stain seadek

Good to know - we do bring our relatively small Labrador out occasionally. Also have been known to enjoy a strawberry or two at times. Maybe I’ll end up with snap in carpet on this one again.
