I added Perfect Pass to my Crownline several years ago and am really happy I did. Makes both driving and skiing easier.

This is a great thread!

My fiance does a fine job controlling speed, but a crappy job in picking out where to go. We ski at the end one of the lake which is sheltered by the wind. It's big enough to do track shaped laps in your own wake with no issue. I tell her to not drive directly into the setting sun (since it's finally calm enough at 7-8pm) because I can't see and I don't trust she can see other boats. Sure enough - almost every time; straight into the sun and out of the corner of the lake into the chop... Yesterday she took off into the sun (it was easier to just have her go than reposition), first time I've ever gotten up on a slalom ski with my eyes closes, fun times!

Do they have PerfectPass with GPS and radar?

Bla Havent Two Skied since I was eight. In that cause I'm not sure how fast I'm going. I instruct my wife to start me out at 25mp but I will have her look at the Speedo next time we are out.

How do you stay out of the water at 25 MPH? Even on my big fat KD Powercarve that is not a slalomable speed?

Perfect pass is very nice, my father in laws Malibu has it and it works well. On the other hand my bayliner does not and my wife is more than capable of keeping the boat around 32mph. But she skis/wakeboards too, so she understands the need for a good constant speed.

Yup, 30mph is as slow as I like to be pulled on slalom, prefer 32-34mph.
