Smart Tabs on Q4 Questions.. Please Help

I have a 2008 Q4 w/ the 4.3. I called Nauticus and told them what boat I had but he didn't ask what size motor after looking on Iboats I think I will need this (http://www.iboats.com/SX-Smart-Tabs...9581579--session_id.648323362--view_id.352488) is this correct? Which ones or you guys useing for your 4.3?

My other question and I know it prolly has been talked about but I wanted to be sure I do this right cuz i'm kinda scared of drilling already haha. But my question is where is the best place to install them on the q4? I saw some nice installs on he q5s do I need to place them in the same place the q5 owerns did? Or more under the trasome close to the drive?

It's really going to be your choice. I have had both and they work similarly. Just make sure you have the down angle at the 25 degrees from the plane of the bottom of the hull if you mount them on the uneven transom surface.

Make sure you watch all the videos about install, heed the warnings about the binding at the connection point (get the different adapter)

Yes and that issue also. Search around there are several q5 and q4 installations on here.

I'm gonig to upload some pics of the back of my boat and let ya'll tell me the best place to mount the tabs. I'm guessing the Q5s and Q6s all have the same cruve in the back (see pic)
