smart tab adjustment

Just installed new set of 1290-80 smart tabs on my 2006 Rinker 226. the boat has a 260 hp 5.0 liter engine. Have a 19 pitch prop. My boat seems to be transom heavy since motor and fuel tank sits toward the back..I installed the smart tabs because i was having porpoiseing and lots of bow rise without people sitting in the front. After installation I took the boat out on some pretty rough water with 4 people sitting in the cockpit of the boat. with trim all the way down bow rise was somewhat improved but ride and porposeing was not...; Current settings are in the middle for tab angle and all the way out from the transom for lift pressure. Can anyone help me with answers to the proper adjustment?

Under normal conditions the adjustment you made would have been correct, but since you have not gotten the desired results we need more info.

Did you used the tabs with other adjsutments? Are you using a hydrofoil as well as the trim tabs? Did the tabs cause any loss of top speed? What prop are you using?

I would suggest that you call us directly at 800-233-0194. I am sure we can resolve the problem, jus tneed more info.
