As some of us have installed smart tabs on our Tahoes, I have ran them in the default position (#3). Has anyone experimented with other adjustments and/or what is the effect to the boat when changing hole position? Thanks!

I ran mine on position 4 on my Q5 which helped the hole shot some. I am starting at position for on my 2007 Q7 which I just installed them on. I will try them this weekend.

I have mine set to position 4 on my Q7, which has helped my hole shot.

Re: Smart Tab Adjustment on 2006 Q6 S/F ?

I made a couple of different settings with results as follows:

#4 hole - boat planed quicker at a slower speed and rode very well in choppy wake and rough conditions. Also seemed to push a bit too much thru the water though.

Went to #2 hole - boat did not plane as quick and took some more speed than hole #4 to stay on plane. rode thru chop and rough conditions well but with bow a bit up. Did not feel like I was pushing thru the water as did with #4 hole. A bit more speed with same rpm's which would save a bit on fuel.

IMO - am going to go back to #3 hole (default) as recommended by smart tab. Would seem to get an all-around result with this setting....again just my opinion and thanks for sharing your results.
