I fish a local lake in southeast KY. In the spring, I can catch a few, on soft plastics around clifflines for about a mont. Then, it's almost like they vanish. I have tried numerous baits, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated for spring and fall.

I fish the Susquehanna for smallies and find hellgramites, real or artificial. (wall mart). 2"-3" Pumpkinseed power grubs also produce for me. Also had a lot of luck with berkley gulp leaches 3". A little pricey but the work also.

Gleaned some possible new tricks to try!! Thanks.
The tubes in greens, mud, smoke have always been good to me. 3"4" with 1/16 to 1/8 lead heads.
Last year barely got started on Texas rigged worms, "crwals and creatures"..Good stuff, for sure.
