small leak on one pontoon ?

noticed a small hole on front point of pontoon seen water dripping for awhile after out of water is there an easy fix ? only second time having boat out also seemed like water was further up pontoons than i thought ? any helpful suggestions would be great . thanks

Yes their is a simple fix, have it pressure tested and welded.

Exactly

Make sure you take it to a shop that has experience with welding aluminum.

You didn't say if you bought it new. If you did, return the boat to the dealership. Pontoons often have long factory warranties.

If there is no warranty, you'll need to have all the seams tested by blowing air into the toon and applying soapy water to all the welds--looking for bubbles. You just need a very low pressure air blast--like a vacuum cleaner in reverse.

They just reweld the place on the leaky seam with a TIG welder. A real welder needs to do the job--not a mechanic type welder.
