Is it possible to use my Suzuki DT55 Brass prop on my Mercury 50hp ELPT? What would I have to do? All spline, length of shaft on prop, all fits fine.

If that all fits check the blade tip to trim tab and AV plate clearance. If it spins ok, then run it and come back and you tell us how it went including top speed and rpms at that speed. Also include hole shot performance (getting on plane from an idle). Data should include your minimum and average loads anticipated, persons, and gear when you give us speed and rpm numbers.

Found out that the Thrust Bearing holds the prop out too far, so have to give up that idea and get a new lower pitch prop. Tried a 12 pitch, and it worked fine, so now looking for a used prop with that pitch. Thanks for the comments.
