Hey all,

Does anyone know where I can find the aluminum grate-like screen that is on most sliding compartment doors on Starcrafts? I've checked around town and can't seem to find what I need. The internet hasn't been a great help either.

I'm replacing the doors and the grates that are on there now are bent up and just don't look good. I don't have a pic to post but I'm sure the Starcraft surgeons here know what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the help!

I have seen it at Home depot in the hardware area you might try there Lowes also has a metal stock area in their hardware section.

If it helps at all....I believe I have most commonly seen that type of screening used to make radiator covers. Might help you locate it.

Andy if your tanks are back there you need to get air in and out . You dont have to follow the factory setup on the doors but you still need air passeges in the doors to get air into the undersplashwell area :D. I am planning a benchseat in my Jupiter so I will be adding vents and ducts under the seat back into the area .

Andy I plan to make my own bench . I havent seen any I really liked for the price so I will build one and cover it myself . I want it to be able to fold forward to access the back and also fold up from the bottom so I can access the underseat area for storage. I have also considered making it so it will lay out flat for a sundeck :D.

Just move to FL! :D

You'll get 95 year round, except for a couple weeks in Jan/Feb.

Now that I think about it, its too darn hot here! hehe

LOL Numlaar I grew up in Tampa so I know the weather there :D. I dont miss it either . We are normally high 80's low 90's here in July thats whats killing us right now the jetstream is out of whack and we are not getting our hot weather we re supposed to have . I will still take 3-4 sesons over 2 any day though . You have 2 seasons Hot and Hot and wet . The hot and wet would drive me nuts now everyday between 3PM and 5PM its gonna rain guaranteed :D. We went down there the beginni9ng of April to take my Mother inlaw her furniture and it was already mid to high 80's then .
