Monday I can see the driveway, the paths are green grass and I am throwing snow on to the bare patches to melt faster.
Tuesday, get a foot of wet snow!

This is why I'm moving to Maui, the beautiful tropical island. I won't miss the Minnesota Winters! I hear we are supposed to get an inch tonight. :facepalm:

1 - 2" tonite, 2 - 4" Friday and threats of a big storm Monday. If it all holds together, plow Sat/Sun and start all over again Tue.....

Well, lets see.
14c/57f today and tommorrow and staying double digits in the daytime for the next 5 days, for the people downtown.
We may see 10c/50f
Overnight hopefully above freezing???

We got hit by a pineapple express and it dumped gobs of snow on us, and downtown got mostly rain.

Nice. Only going to have a couple of days in the low 30's, then back to the low 20's for highs. They've upped the snow to 3 - 6" Friday... 20" + of ice still on the lakes......

That is too hot for this time of year Bruceb58, I prefer the 82 degrees that we had up/over here....and for the cost of living in Maui, you could stay put and hire everything done by others and be money ahead, so i'm told.

Well here we go, +6c and its raining cats and dogs.
Just add a good wind and the snow should be gone in a week or two! UGH.

Don't get me wrong...I friggin love summer and seeing lush green instead of leafless brown trees and white. But snowmobiling can be a lot of fun as well. I think that snowmobiles were invented by boaters as a way to pass the time til the next boating season. In fact it started in Wisconsin

I feel your pain Northerners


Last night was supposed to be the last of the freezing temps. Been back and forth here temperature wise. But today is going to be in the upper 60s. This weekend in the 70s. So Spring has Sprung in the SE. I am still expecting it to go back and forth until April. Some years Spring is early and some years it is late. You just never know. Last year we had 80s by this time. I can only take so much winter. Dec, Jan, Feb, I can tolerate, but by March winter has to go!!

Isn't that the truth! Put on 80 miles yesterday....... In a few days they're talking highs in the teens and lows around 0. That's January weather! What's the date today????????? :facepalm:
