Skiing behind vintage StarCraft Jupiter

Hi all

Anyone pull a skier behind a vintage aluminum boat with an outboard? What tow setup do you use? I have a 1964 StarCraft Jupiter. I’d like to be able to pull the occasional tube/ski/wakeboard.

doubt you'll get any wake for wakeboarding, unless the person weighs 450#.

Had a'66 Nassau that threw very little wake at all.

Skiing - a larger aggressive skier will likely pull the back of the boat around a little.

Depends how much hp you have, no reason it wont unless you have a really heavy person ! Back in 1964 I had a 14' mirro with an 18 hp evinrude and we skied behind that, getting up a little tricky but very doable. Also depends on the ski's, wider will be easier to get up on, skinnier will take more power.
