I would try and use the search function but I don't know what this device is called. Seems like it is a type of system that automatically latches your boat to the trailer when you reach a certain point while loading. Looks like a half - loop, maybe tubular? Anybody out there help me identify? Thanks, Mark

I have an automatic latch system new hanging on a peg. Given to me because the person didn’t know how to use it, and it hangs there because neither do I.. it pretty much looks like garbage I wouldn’t trust

Many people relying on an Auto Latch, have ended up Smashing into the Winch Stand, resulting in bent Stands and/or damaged Boats.
By not backing in too deep, the Bunks will provide Stoppage a foot or two shy of the Stand, and will prevent it from backing off. Roller Trailers, are best loaded manually, unless the boat is very large, and I mean large

Wow....and he's trailerboat'n with a CAR.....omg.

Kinda like MY method. There is an eyebolt on the trailer. Pull out the winch cable and secure it to the eye. Then back the trailer in and bring the stem up between the bunks. At that point the winch cable is at the perfect length to hold the boat on the trailer. Then, crank her on. Or, in my case since I'm now so old and LAZY I use a Powerwinch (brand).

Buick Roadmaster, has a Factory Trailer Option good for 5000lbs. I also have a 95 Caddy(12,000 on the Odometer) that has that Option, good for 7000lb.

I hate Trucks, the seats are very Uncomfortable. Cadillacs used to have Nice Seats, not anymore

I found these. You can just enter your own search in Google. It's able to understand what you want, or comes close to it. I hope these help
