Paypal is the way to go I'd say. I can charge anyone with an email address. But that's not what she's looking for. You'll find something I'm sure. Believe me, there are lots of ways to take people's money.

You should check out Costco.com . If you have a business membership they have a deal with a credit card processor that is 1.48% plus $0.20 per transaction. Looks like there is a minimum $20 fee per month which you would meet if you have over $1300 worth of charges a month.

Mrs QC does some catering as a little biz of her own. She has found a niche delivering sandwiches and such to medical offices and her customer is likely a pharmaceutical rep or similar medical salesperson buying lunch for the whole office. They need her to be able to take credit cards easily. I've found stuff like this: https://squareup.com/

squareup is only one of those types of services, there are several for smart phone business types. look into a couple of them and go with the one with the least amount of fees.

you will always be charged for using a convienant service though. nobody just gives away their tech for free. always a catch.

roam pay ~ $10/month + (.25 + 1.09% per transaction)

eaglepointsdistribution ~ 2.69% + .19 PER SWIPE or 1.59% + YOUR MONTHLY STATEMENT

etc, etc. they all get you somehow.

Thanks all. She's got a deal on the 22nd, so we'll try something. Probably go PayPal route for this one and see how well that works for the customer. She'll have to do the invoice after the fact, but should be OK. I think I'll send myself a test example and see how that goes.
