The stamped transom plate tells me shes a MFG Westfield. The scribed number is 7015 - is it safe to assume shes a 1970 15'?

The actual bow:stern measurement is a hair under 16', and I found this page for reference - everything seems to correspond.

Thanks

ohh nice link. Thanks.

Later on this afternoon I noticed on the registration ("title" for NY purposes) that its listed as a 1965 15' which now makes more sense out of the 1965 Evinrude (already looked up that serial).

yes- the "7015" is the serial number of the casting. The length is probably coincidental. Published lengths are funny on older boats; sometimes they are length-over-all (straightline down centerline, bow to stern) and sometimes they are measured length from bow to stern down the gunwale.
