Silverton 34 C, 1986 windlass issue

Hi, Just bought a Silverton 34C and love it! Pretty much in mint condition, low hours and such. One thing that doesn't work is the windlass. Any ideas where to start?

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Test it by seein' where there's Power, 'n where there Ain't,....

jumper it directly to a battery,...

Put a volt meter on the motor connections and work your way back thru the circuit until you find power. Switches and relays are notorious failure points in those systems

Will start there. Is there a wiring diagram available for the windlass system?
