:)That's about all we get here is an occasional dust storm.

But, come August, we can relate the "Valley ON the Sun" temps. which will be well over 100*F consistantly..:grumpy:

76*F here. That's ABOVE!!

No worries. Was on the boat Monday with the Admiral.

The air pollution in Shanghia is so bad they have alerts, The pictures are drastic!

Shanghai smog hits crisis point with air pollution 24 times WHO safety levels | Mail Online

And, The USA is the problem? Please!

I was in Shanghai at that time. There was smog inside the hotel and you could "taste" the air as you breathed. It was so thick inside the airport terminal you could barely see from one end to the other.

30s' inland tonight on the coast not so much. No wind though chance for some frost. Around Tampa and more north. I was in front of Lakeview Hospital many moons ago in Chicago in Dec. Promised to never complain about it being hot again. I'll be 55 and born here but August -Sep was pretty rough last year.

Hey, I left my boat out in the single digits unwinterized. Do you think it will be OK? <snicker>

Has not gotten any warmer then -2 today and we started at -17 this morning. Surprising but a 15 degree climb is ALLOT!! Tonight is going to be a toasty -11.

Now just for information........ wind chill only has an effect on warm-blooded mammals - people. If it is -15 and then the windchill takes it to -50......... your car will not care because it is only -15 to the car.

True but not the whole story. "Wind Chill" will draw the heat out of objects faster and bring them to the ambient temperature quicker. It will also make it harder to maintain temperature in heated objects. Like your house or car. Your furnace or heater may not care but your bank account will.;);):blue:

-32 last nite with a projected high today of -4. It feels like I've plugged my truck in more this year than I have all the years prior to now combined. Warming up to the mid 20s tomorrow w/snow, then back to the deep freeze Saturday. Talking -10 for a high Monday.

It is amazing the temp. difference between N/S WI, especially during spring and fall.......

Just below zero here, but we have been in a cloud for over a week and the water vapour in the cloud is tuning into hoar frost on everything.

Expecting the ice queen to role up in her sleigh (pulled by killer rabbits) any time now!! LOL

I never plug my vehicle in or cover my boat ... but then again, I keep them in a semi-heated garage! yeah, Musky, I spoil mine also, but the garage door was frozen Tuesday morningand needed to be thawed from the floor before exiting the garage ...

Yesterday I had to make my way to school with 15" snow, 40 kt winds, and single digit temps. For Long Island, this winter has been the most brutal I recall in over 25 yrs. My home heating oil bill and my collection of shovels leaning on the garage is backing me up on that statement.

Heck, I don't pay to heat the horse barn. I'm sure as heck not going to pay to heat an inanimate object like a boat. The boat's lucky to be keep under roof in the equipment shed...lol
