Showa tilt and trim reassembly-2007 F150TXR

I had a leaky tilt and trim assembly.
Disassembled, replaced the O-rings and screen/filter
I have a leftover part that is not in the Crowley Marine parts diagram for my outboard.
Can anyone provide some guidance?

I downloaded a service manual and now I see where the part goes.
Hole #4 with the screen/filter on the motor side.

Nope, the valve pin falls into hole #4 so that seem like a no go.
Maybe hole #1, that's a nice fit.

Can anyone confirm the location of the valve pin?
I was hoping their was an expert that could give me some confidence to button it up.
