Should this be leaking???? Evinrude 112

Had some great help on this forum yesterday, but want to verify. I have unused fuel/oil and water leaking from this seam. Shouldn't this be sealed? I don't recall every having a leak here before...

If that's where the lower unit attaches to the mid leg, and if you've had the lower unit off recently, then you might want to drop, clean off both sides where they meet and then reattach using the proper torque for the bolts. You can get small debris around the edge when it's separated which will cause it to have a gap.

If that's the area I think it is, there's no gasket that goes in there to seal it.
