short shaft to long shaft

i have a 1970 60 hp johnson electric shift short shaft and like to make it into a long shaft. i heard that u can buy a kit to change it over is this true and if so were can i look on the net for prices?

Don't know about the electric shift models, Joe, but it seems they would be easier to switch.<br /><br />Check with www.twincityoutboard.com
