I have a 1986 inline 6 Mercury,took it out for first time today my poblem is when I started it with fast idle slighty foward (Like I always have) the boat went foward,I then put it in netural same thing happened.I then tryed it in reverse and still went foward.The only thing I did to the motor was try to idle up a little on the bottom screw on the port side of motor.Any connection with that? I always try to do things myself and it seems like something else happens.Any help at all before I have to bring it to the shop?
