shift/throttle control unit ?

Hi to all,

Just dissembled my first control (I've cracked one open once but put it back together for fear of parts flying out) .

Anyway while dissembling it and trying to get the 2 cables out one of the little black keepers (small barrel looking with cable running thru it) on one of the cables cracked in half. It looks like one side was cracked before. It was somewhat stuck and when I pried it, it broke.

Can it be repaired? Or do I have to buy another cable? Can you buy just one or do you have buy the set?
I have another set that came with the motor but they are too long.

You have to replace the cable.:'(
