shift/throttle box lubrication

I have just disassembled and cleaned on old shift/trottle box on a 1958 35hp Johnson OB. Any recommendations for a lubricant to use when reassembling? Seloc just says to use a "light lubricant" and not a hard grease. Thanks in advance for your help.

Many dealers sell small tubes of (11oz) marine grease like "Triple Guard" from Bomby. Any type brand of marine grease should do the job.
