Could someone explain the proper sequence for reassembling the shift rod to the gearbox on a 4 hp model #J4brcnr?
The shift rod bottom end finishes in a half cylinder shape how does that exert an upward force to shift [neutral-forward only] or stay in place? I now have the tower separated from the powerhead as well as the gearbox separated from the tower section.
