Shift interupter old to new?

Have a 1976 Glasply with old style interrupter wiring and upgraded to a brand new wiring harness with a brand new 3.0 mercruiser. Was wondering how I need to go about hooking up old switch to new wiring. I added pictures. With the old wiring Brown went to neg coil and black went to ground. Now I have a purple and green/white, Not sure which one goes where. Thanks for any help.

Disconnect the wires that go from the shift interrupt switch to that terminal block. Throw the terminal block away. If you try to use it you will short out the ignition and blow fuses.
Then put bullet connectors on the SI switch to match the purple and the white/green wires on the harness.
