My dumb***** removed the shift cradle screw while changing the gear lube. Motor is a 99 50hp Johnson, Boat ran fine for few days. Now prop won't turn. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
All is not lost. Remove the screw. Look into the hole and move the shift or jiggle the unit until the locating hole in the shift fork can be seen. Use a round probe to get the final positioning and replace the screw.
