I have a late 80s 115 mariner with a mercury lower end it shifted fine untill I lowered it to change the impeller the shift controll knob moves but I can not get it out of reverse Can you plaese help
I hate to say it, but you must drop the l/u again, put the control in the reverse position,and put it up again.Try it before you bolt it up , just in case you didn't get it that time.
