I pulled my SX-A drive today. I’ll be replacing the gimbal bearing and both bellows. I found part numbers for everything on the Volvo webpage. However I also need shift cable seals and can’t seem to find them in any of the Volvo parts diagrams. Does anyone know where I might find these?

You will most likely need your transom serial or/and sometimes the product model number (I believe it starts with a 3)< that will be on the same ID plate, input those number/s and it will bring up a different parts diagram of the overall transom assembly where you might be able to locate the parts in question… if not the transom number then search the actual drive number/s… it’s different than the engine serial number that might happen to show some driver parts but not all… just depends at times and what websites searched.

Yes, i actually did use the drive number. That’s how Volvo has the website broken down. It actually shows the item in one diagram but its not a numbered item with corresponding part. Frustrating.

Post your product and serial number/s and a link to the item in question… if possible…

That usually comes with a/the shift cable from the cable manufacturer and one is called a Protective swivel seal while the smaller one is called the Protective wiper seal shown here,

Think I found a place that sells them, https://www.pacificcustoms.com/cablesealwiper.html

That is not a critical component if you cannot find new. I just usually extend the cable and apply a liberal amount of drive grease to the extended cable.
