several ? about a 4 hp evinrude

i have a 4 hp evinrude i just bought i had sevear question if anyone could help it appear new even the exhaust cover has factory paint even the plugs are factory (i plan on changing lol did i get a good deal at 150? it purrs like a kitten wat year excactly is it and wat is the proper fuel mixture? 1 more sry for so many lol is their a way or a kit out their to put a on motor fuel tank on this motor?

That is a 1986, Rob.

Fuel mix is 50:1. If she runs good you got an excellent deal.

shdwwzrd: You paid way too much for it and I feel so bad for you I'm willing to buy it off you for the full price. Just kidding. It does sound like you got a great deal. It must need a new impeller and some other maintenance. Go to the top of the forum and look at the Top Secret File and read up on some things you should do for it to bring it back to life. Rick.

well thank you all i baught it from a maine shop and they already had changed the impeller and tank ran it to show me that it worked it just had a broke choke linkage lol and the bottem cover he said he would sell in that condition for 150 it he fixed it, it would be 350 so i took it i mainly plan on useing it for a lon boat and maybe a 12 ft v hull for fishin but thank you all all the info was greatly appreciated
