Hello i just got an 1974 tri hull with an 65 hp Evinrude. Wich way would i move the motor to get up to plane faster? Especially towing a tube. Thanks

Re: Setting Trim angle

Move engine all the way down to start. As you plane out and settle at your cruising speed, gradually trim up a bit- you'll possibly speed up as your hull rises.
If you start porposing, trim back down a bit.
After a few tries, you'll develop an instinct for the correct setting.
General rule, trim down = bow down.
