What is the easiest way to set the timing on a 1975 Johnson 3 cyl 2 stroke outboard enging. I have noticed vibration and it sounds like it may be missing. Can this be done without a timing light? I have noticed a couple of backfires when starting which leads me to believe it could very well be the timing. Thanks for your help.
