Your serial # comes up as 1986 model.Search Crowley marine for part #.......then google #.

The 1986 models are 7075716 and 7075726 which are four cylinders.

my 75 mariner is a 3 cylinder; The serial # plate is OA739940 /the round silver stamp on the powerhead says A739940 it looks like a big letter M is also under the numbers ; Is this the Model number if not where are they located?Thankyou for your input

It could be that the power head was replaced one from a newer year motor.

OA739940 is the same as A739940. The 0 in front of the A is generally used for computer search applications.

Your engine is a three cylinder as seen in the parts listing which I gave you.

7075412NC is the model number derived from the s/n.
