Serial number through diagnostic tool?

Hi.
Does anyone know if its possible to obtain the engine serial number through a diagnostic tool?

I have the Rinda Diacom software and it shows the engine serial number (assuming you have a fuel injected engine of recent vintage)

Yep its an MPI from 2006..well according to the previous owner.

I’d imagine so. I certainly know for sure that the engine serial details and specs are shown on screen, when you have the vessel view mobile device fitted to the mpi.
