Need advice with my process before paint. I have removed the paint on my 1984 Starcraft MR 180 and see alot of corrosion in the seam areas. So my question is what would be the sequence of these products as I have purchased all of them. 3M 5200,Goop It,Parker primer and Parker duck boat paint. My thoughts are prime,5200 the seams then goop apoxy then paint?

If the Goop It is the Epoxy Sealer Like Gluvit the I think allyou need is to ensure the seam is good and clean and then fill it with the epoxy. If possible tilt the boat to allow the epoxy to flow into the seam as best as possible untill cured and then do the same for the other side. There's no need for the 5200. Do NOT prime the aluminum until AFTER the epoxy has cured. Sand with 80 grit and then apply the primerand then paint. That's how this Old Dumb Okie would do it.;)
